Rashmika cast opposite Ayushmann in ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’, know when the film will be released

Mumbai: Dinesh Vijan has mastered the art of making horror comedy. He started his career with Stree in 2018 and made this horror comedy universe quite popular. After this, he created his own horror comedy universe with Bhediya and Munjya. While Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is set to release on August 15 this year. Now he is going to add another film to this universe named Vampires of Vijay Nagar. Dinesh Vijan is reuniting with director Aditya Satpodar for Vampires of Vijay Nagar.

According to reports, Dinesh Vijan and Aditya Satpodar have roped in Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna to play the lead roles in this horror comedy based on vampires. Ayushmann Khurrana and Dinesh Vijan have previously worked together on Bala. They have been discussing Vampires of Vijay Nagar for a while now and are all set to take the film on the floors by the end of this year.

After the success of Munjya, Vampires of Vijay Nagar is the second collaboration of Aditya Satpodar and Dinesh Vijan. This is the first collaboration of Ayushmann Khurana and Rashmika Mandana. Both the actors have a unique style in the film, which will be surprising for the fans. The script is currently being written and will soon reach pre-production.

Before Vampires of Vijay Nagar, Ayushmann may start shooting for Border 2 directed by Anurag Singh. On the other hand, Rashmika will complete the shooting of Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun and Sikandar with Salman Khan before moving on to Vampires of Vijay Nagar.
