The name of this actor is Bijou Thangjam who has appeared in the film ‘Mary Kom’ with Priyanka Chopra. Bijou wrote on X accusing the team of Alia Bhatt starrer film that he was cast in the film. This was also confirmed but later Jigra’s team did not call him for the shooting. He kept waiting for the team to call but he did not get the call for the shooting. Meanwhile, he rejected many other offers.

Jigra’s team kept in dark for a month

Bijou said, “I was approached by the casting team of Jigra for a role in 2023. I sent my tapes twice within four months. At the end of November I was told that I would be shooting in December, but they No fixed date was given. Then they kept me in the dark for the whole month and no proper update was given. I got the last message on 26th December that we are waiting for the reply. And after that I lost many other good projects. I am just telling the truth with actors like me in the North East. Jigra flopped badly at the box office

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra has been released in theaters on October 11. Jigra, made with a budget of Rs 80 crore, has flopped badly at the box office. The film earned only Rs 1.50 crore on the first Monday, after which its total collection has increased to Rs 18.10 crore. It has emerged as Alia Bhatt’s worst opener in the last 10 years. Earlier, Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Khosla had called the earnings of the film Jigra as fake. Attacking Alia Bhatt, she said that Alia herself had bought the tickets of Jigra.
