If Rahul Gandhi declares Hooda as CM candidate, Congress will lose badly in Haryana: Biplab Kumar Deb

Chandigarh: Bharatiya Janata Party co-in-charge in Haryana Biplab Kumar Deb today challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to declare former Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda as his party’s election candidate. Deb said, “If Congress has so much confidence, then Rahul Baba should declare Bhupendra Hooda as its CM candidate. Congress party will lose badly in Haryana.”

Naib Singh Saini will become the next Chief Minister

Answering questions at the election platform conclave organized by India TV, Biplav Kumar Dev said, “Our party has declared Naib Singh Saini as the CM candidate. Naib Singh Saini will again become the next Chief Minister.” When asked why Saini was made the Chief Minister in place of Manohar Lal Khattar before the elections, Biplab Kumar Deb said, “This is the strategy of BJP. I was also removed from the post of CM of Tripura and our party had won the assembly elections there. Naib Singh Saini will become the Chief Minister of Haryana also. On the other hand, Congress has not declared its CM candidate.”

Biplab Kumar Deb said, “10 years ago when Bhupendra Hooda was the Chief Minister, he had claimed that Haryana was number one in the whole of India. Then why did Hooda lose? This is the reason why this time Congress is not declaring him as the CM candidate."

Congress governments do not repeat

The BJP leader said, “History shows that BJP governments are repeated in states, but Congress governments are not repeated. BJP has organization and leadership, but in Congress everyone works for the same family, in Haryana the Hooda family has kept Shailja aside.”

can’t please everyone

When asked about anti-incumbency in Haryana, Biplab Kumar Deb said, “You cannot please everyone. But during the BJP rule, the system of expenses and slips for government jobs was abolished. Online social pension is being given to the elderly.”
