The anti-terrorism squad (ATS) of Madhya Pradesh Police arrested a dangerous terrorist from Khandwa in the state on Thursday. According to the information, this terrorist was allegedly preparing to attack the security forces. Officials said that the terrorist was planning to carry out a ‘lone wolf’ attack. Now Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s reaction has also come to the fore on the incident of arrest of the terrorist in the state. Let’s know what he said.

The terrorist was working as a mechanic

Police officials have said that Faizan Sheikh, a mechanic by profession, was influenced by the ideologies of Indian Mujahideen and Islamic State. He was arrested after a raid in Kanjar Mohalla-Saluja Colony of communally sensitive Khandwa city. Initial investigation has revealed that Faizan Sheikh wanted to come into the limelight by carrying out a lone wolf attack on security personnel. In a lone wolf attack, a person executes his plans alone. For this, he had also done a recce.

What did CM Mohan Yadav say?

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, who arrived in Chhindwara, has responded to the arrest of the terrorist in Khandwa. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is vigilant against any terrorist activity. He congratulated the Khandwa police on the arrest of the terrorist. Mohan Yadav said that this is a big action. Madhya Pradesh is a place of peace and there is no place for any terrorist activity here.

What was found with the terrorist?

The police have recovered four mobile phones, a pistol, cartridges and literature and videos of various terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Indian Mujahideen and IS from the arrested terrorist. A case has been registered against the terrorist under UAPA. The ATS team is also interrogating many other people associated with the terrorist. (input language)
