Bihar School Timing: Big change in school timing in Bihar, Education Department released the schedule, see full timetable here

Bihar School Timings: There has been a change in the timing of government schools in Bihar. Now all government schools from class 1 to 12 will start at 9 am. Children will leave at 3:15 pm and teachers will leave at 4:30 pm. Under Mission Daksh, students of special classes and other special classes will leave at 4:00 pm.

According to the new schedule released by the education department, a minimum working period of 45 hours per week has been fixed for teachers. Every teacher will have a daily working period of at least 7.5 hours from Monday to Saturday. The working hours of teachers can also be increased by the principal depending on the need to complete the syllabus.

According to the order issued by Director Secondary Education, Sunny Sinha, classes from class 1 to 8 will be bagless throughout the day on Saturday. Teaching work will be done in secondary and higher secondary schools till the break. After the lunch break, Bal Sansad, assembly, sports, creative activities and meetings with parents will be organized. In the month in which there are five Saturdays, cultural programs will be organized on the fifth Saturday of that month. In which the materials and activities made by the children will be displayed and the teachers will evaluate them.

Teachers will reach school 10 minutes early

It is clearly stated in the order that all teachers and non-teaching staff will mark their presence 10 minutes before the school starts. Strict action will be taken if any changes are made in the issued time table. Other classes will not be postponed during the board or setup examination of any class. This model time table will be applicable in all the primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools (including Sanskrit and madrasa schools) of the state. Meaning Sanskriti Board and Government Urdu schools will also follow the model time-table. It will be the responsibility of the teacher to give homework to the students every day and check it the next day. The headmaster has been given the responsibility of inspecting the cleanliness of classes, kitchen, toilet etc. every day.
