Famous actress dies due to breast cancer, wave of mourning spread in the industry
Kalen Gorman passed away: Kalen Gorman, who created popular behind-the-scenes content for ‘Glee’ and other hit shows, has died at the age of 59. Gorman died Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after battling breast cancer, her publicist announced.
Gorman was best known for her work on ‘Glee’, where she produced interviews and behind-the-scenes footage that garnered millions of views on YouTube and other platforms. He worked closely with actors, crew members, and show producers to produce over 300 pieces of content for each episode during the show’s first five seasons from 2009 to 2014.
In addition to Glee, Gorman produced behind-the-scenes content for Ryan Murphy’s Feud and the first season of Homeland. Born in Toronto and raised in Los Angeles, Gorman began her career in public relations before moving into television production.
