Let us tell you, the accused had allegedly made a deal with the businessman to buy gold. But in return they gave him fake notes worth Rs 1.3 crore, on which the picture of actor Anupam Kher was printed instead of Mahatma Gandhi.
The two also insisted on using the ‘Angadiya’ service for transactions through an office, which also turned out to be fake. After handing over the fake notes the accused fled from the spot.

CCTV footage was obtained of the suspects, who pretended to be businessmen and used fake notes for transactions. Expressing happiness over the incident, famous actor Kher wrote to his ex, “My picture instead of Gandhi’s picture on the Rs 500 note???? Anything can happen.”
