Damo Suzuki passes away: Damo Suzuki, Japanese lead singer of the phenomenal band CAN, has recently passed away, according to a statement on the band’s social media pages. Despite battling colon cancer for a decade, no cause of death was reported. He was 74, Variety reports.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that yesterday, Friday, February 9, 2024, our wonderful friend Damo Suzuki passed away,” the statement said. “His boundless creative energy has inspired so many people all over the world, not only with Cain, but also with his continent-spanning network tour. Damo’s kind spirit and cheeky smile will always be remembered.
