The local BJP leaders were restless to welcome Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, so as soon as he reached Korba, the crowd of workers broke up. At the time of elections, where Lakhanlal Dewangan had opened his office, there were preparations to welcome him in Korba. The welcome with flower garland was fine, the workers weighed the minister with laddus in a big scale on the stage itself. Then during the welcome itself, all the leaders along with the minister also climbed the stage. After weighing himself with laddus, as soon as Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan started speaking after holding the mike, suddenly the entire stage was filled with people.

In the video that has surfaced of the stage breaking, it is seen that Lakhanlal Dewangan was saying, Kirandev Zindabad… and then the stage broke. It was fortunate that no one suffered serious injuries. The people standing below the stage hurriedly took the minister out.

Devangan who won from Korba was made minister

It is noteworthy that Lakhanlal Dewangan has won from Korba in the recently held Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. He has defeated Jaisingh Aggarwal, who was Revenue Minister and three-time MLA in the previous Baghel government, by a margin of about 26 thousand votes. Earlier, when Raman Singh was in power in the state, Lakhanlal was the Parliamentary Secretary. Then he was the MLA of Katghora. This time he has been given the post of minister in Vishnu Dev Sai government. There is great enthusiasm among the officials and workers of Korba BJP due to the appointment of Lakhanlal as minister. A welcome ceremony was organized in Korba regarding this.
