Three youths tried to commit robbery in broad daylight in Verka area of Amritsar, Punjab. However, the woman showed such courage that the miscreant youths had to run away. The entire incident was captured in CCTV camera. The incident took place on Star Avenue of Verka. Three miscreants entered Mandeep Kaur’s house in broad daylight with the intention of robbing, but the woman stood like a wall. The woman’s husband works as a goldsmith, so the criminals chose this house.
The woman was alone in the house and her two small children were present. As soon as the robbers tried to enter the house by climbing the wall, the woman closed the room of the house and started screaming loudly. The miscreants tried to open the door for some time, but when they did not succeed, they were forced to run away.
The woman was at home with the child
Victim Mandeep Kaur told that she was alone in the house with her children, when some robbers tried to enter the house by climbing the wall of her house. Seeing them coming, she immediately stood holding the door. Regarding the incident, the woman’s husband Jagjit Singh said that this incident had happened with his wife. His wife showed courage and faced the robbers. He demanded the police to take legal action against the robber.

Regarding the incident, female police officer AK Sohi said that recently three robbers were trying to enter the house of a goldsmith, when his wife very courageously stopped them from entering. He told that the case is being investigated closely by him and the nearby CCTV footage is also being scrutinized and soon the accused will be caught.(Report- Vishal Sharma)
