Shooting done so far
So far, four films and two serials have been shot in Ranthambore and the surrounding areas of the district. These include the film Daud starring Sanjay Dutt and Urmila Mantedkar in 2003, Saif Ali Khan’s Captain in 2017, the serial Tipu Sultan in 2000 and scenes of another serial were also shot here about six months ago.
‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi’ could not be released
In 2010, the film ‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi’ starring Hema Malini and Vinod Khanna was shot in Sherpur and Ranthambore and the surrounding areas. Hema Malini played the role of a politician in this film, however, due to controversies, this film has not been released yet.
The songs of the album were also shot
Apart from this, the songs of the album have also been shot at Ranthambore Fort and Rajiv Gandhi Regional Natural Museum located at Ramsinghpura. On February 14, an album on the ill effects of smoking was released on YouTube, its shooting was also done in the museum.
Work is also being done on wildlife documentary
Apart from this, a documentary is also being made on the tigers and tigresses of Ranthambore. Earlier also, Nalla Muthu had made a 40-minute documentary on fishes named ‘The Most Famous Tiger Fish’. This film has been shown in 147 countries so far. Apart from this, a documentary is also being made on Ranthambore’s tigress Krishna.
