Who built the Nahargarh Fort?
According to the official website of Rajasthan Tourism, Nahargarh Fort was built by Raja Jai Singh in 1734 amidst the Aravalli Hills and near Jaipur. This fort was completed in 1868. Nahargarh means the abode of tigers. The old name of this fort was Sudarshangarh. In this fort, 12 special rooms were built for the queens and a luxurious room for the king. Even today this palace is a favorite place of the people.

It is said that during the construction of the fort, many such activities were seen which scared the labourers. Whatever work they did, the next day that work would turn into ruins. Due to which the labourers would get very scared.
The forest near the fort is the most dangerous
There is a huge forest near Nahargarh Fort. It is said that the king used to go there for hunting. Even today this forest is considered quite dangerous, because animals are seen roaming here. Therefore tourists are kept away from the forest.
