Major accident in Dang, Gujarat, luxury bus falls into ditch, 2 children killed, many seriously injured

A major road accident has taken place in Dang district of Gujarat. A private luxury bus going from Surat to Saputara fell into a ditch here. Two children died in this accident and 20 to 25 people were injured. The condition of five of the injured is critical. The injured have been admitted to the primary health center of Shamghan, where their treatment is going on. This accident took place on Saputara Malegam Road. The age of the girl who lost her life in the accident is said to be 8-10 years.

The bus that met with the accident had brought 50-60 people from Surat to Saputara and was returning from Saputara to Surat. During this time, the bus met with an accident. All the passengers in the bus had come to Surat for sightseeing. Rescue operation of the bus that fell into the ditch is underway.

Accident victim on U-turn

The local administration and the fire brigade team are carrying out rescue and recovery operations at the site of the accident. The place where this bus met with an accident has a sharp turn and almost all vehicles have to take a U-turn. This is why accidents happen here often. The slope along the U-turn increases the risk of accidents. The administration has also put up boards to alert people, but despite all this, the bus met with an accident. By watching the video of the site of the accident, it can be guessed that the driver lost control of the bus at the U-turn and the bus went off the road and overturned in the ditch below.
