Lakhpati Didi Yojana 2024: Women are getting a loan of Rs 5 lakh without interest, know the whole process

Raipur. The central government has launched the Lakhpati Didi scheme to empower women financially. Under this, women are getting a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh without any interest to start their own business. Along with this, free training is also being given. Let us tell you that on 15 August 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the Lakhpati Didi scheme at the Red Fort.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana is linked to self-help groups for women across the country. This scheme is a skill development training program for women. Through this, women are given skill training and their earning capacity is developed. Under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the government provides interest-free loans to women ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Eligibility for Lakhpati Didi Scheme

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Only women between 18 to 50 years can take the loan.
• The annual income of the woman should not exceed Rs 3 lakh.
• No member of the family should have a government job.

This way you can apply online

• Visit the official website of Government of India to apply online.
• When the home page of the website opens, click on the option of Lakhpati Didi Yojana.
• When the application form opens, fill in all the information asked in it carefully.
• Scan and upload the required documents.
• Click on Submit.
• On clicking, you will get the application form, take a printout of it and keep it with you.
• In this way your process will be completed.

Procedure to apply offline

• Go to your block or Women and Child Development Department office.
• Take the Lakhpati Didi Yojana application form from the concerned employee and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the application form.
• Now submit the application form to the concerned employee in the office.
• You will get a receipt from the office, which you should keep safe.

Under the scheme, technical work like making LED bulbs, plumbing, drone repairing etc. are taught. Skilled women are selected on the basis of these technical works.
