Brijmohan Agrwal: Brijmohan Agarwal will remain a minister! The file for the transfer of 600 teachers was sent to the secretariat

Brijmohan Agrawal: Raipur. After being elected MP from Raipur parliamentary seat on June 4, Chhattisgarh BJP’s veteran leader Brijmohan Agarwal has resigned from Raipur South assembly seat. A short while ago, Brijmohan Agarwal reached the residence of Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh at Maulshree Vihar and submitted his resignation from the post of MLA. He was accompanied by many big leaders including former minister Prem Prakash Pandey, former minister Ajay Chandrakar, Raipur North MLA Purandar Mishra. However, according to the rules of the Constitution, one has to resign from any one house within 14 days of the notification of being elected as an MP by the Election Commission of India. This deadline of Brijmohan Agarwal was ending on June 19. But two days before this, he resigned to the Assembly Speaker.

Let us tell you, yesterday while talking to the media he had said that I can remain an MLA till the 19th. I will resign from the post of MLA before the 19th. Today afternoon around 3:00 pm suddenly the news came that Brijmohan Agarwal is going to the house of the Speaker of the Assembly to resign. As soon as this news went viral, there was a stir in the political circles. Everyone had the same question that will Brijmohan resign only from the post of MLA or from the post of minister as well.

But sources close to him say that he will continue to be a minister. Brijmohan holds the portfolios of School Education, Higher Education and Tourism. Yesterday, he took the initiative and talked to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai to extend school holidays for children till June 25 in view of the heat. This sent a message that he is still taking interest in departmental work.

The transfer file

Minister Brijmohan Agarwal has sent a file to the School Education Department for the transfer of 600 teachers on the last working day i.e. 14th June last week. Obviously, this file will move from the bottom to the coordination through the recommendation of the School Education Secretary and the Chief Secretary. The Chief Minister is the head of coordination. What stand the Chief Minister takes on the proposal of Brijmohan’s transfer is a matter of later, the message in the context of Brijmohan is that he will not resign from the post of minister right now. Because if he had to resign, he would not have forwarded the file of transfer of teachers. Obviously, after being elected as MP from Raipur Lok Sabha seat, he has spoken publicly many times about resigning from the post of minister that after resigning from the post of MLA, I can remain a minister for 6 months. However, he also said that I will resign from the ministership when the Chief Minister says so. But even political pundits do not think that Brijbhan Agarwal will resign so soon.
