Mumbai: On the occasion of Father’s Day, Ira Khan has shared an unseen emotional video of her father Aamir Khan, in which he is seen during his wedding to Nupur Shikhare. In this video, Aamir gets emotional as he sings a heart-touching song for Ira and gives her a special message.
The four-minute video begins with the ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor welcoming guests to his daughter’s sangeet evening. Sitting in a garden at Ira’s wedding venue, Aamir shares a heartwarming message, in which he talks about how Ira “grew up really fast, much faster than him”.
He also reflects on the past few years, and says, “I feel I have learnt a lot, especially in these last three years. In the video, the actor is seen singing songs like ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’ and ‘Aa Chalke Tujhe’ with his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad. They get emotional while singing ‘Babul Ki Duayein’, which brings tears to Ira’s eyes as well. The video concludes with the father-daughter duo wearing similar mehendi during the mehendi ceremony, to which Aamir comments, “It’s so nice to see their warmth and playfulness.”

The couple officially registered their marriage in Mumbai, followed by a Christian wedding in Udaipur on January 10.
