The driver told that during the 12-hour journey, Soochana remained very quiet and stopped the car at only one place.

The driver said that he received a call from the hotel on January 7, saying that a woman had to leave Bengaluru immediately. He said, “At around 1 am, Information got into the cab. I picked up the bag from the reception. It was a black colored bag and was very heavy. I asked her why the bag was so heavy and whether there were liquor bottles in it. Car stuck in traffic for 4 hours

According to the driver, the vehicle was stuck for about 4 hours due to the jam on the border of Goa and Karnataka. Then D’Souza told Soochana that he would drop her to the airport, but Soochana refused. After this, D’Souza’s suspicion increased because on one hand Soochana was in a hurry, but despite the traffic, she did not want to go by plane. During this time, the information stopped the vehicle at only one place to buy a water bottle.

D’Souza said that as soon as he entered Karnataka, he received a call from the police, in which the police asked whether the woman had any children with her. After this a call came again, in which the police asked D’Souza to take the car to the nearest police station. D’Souza said, “I stopped the car at a restaurant and asked the guard where the police station was. After this I reached the police station. When the police searched, the child’s body was found in the bag.”

Suchana Seth, CEO of a startup company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, had come to Goa with her 4-year-old son on January 6, but was alone when she returned. When the hotel staff cleaned the room after his departure, they found blood stains, after which the police was informed. Goa Police, with the help of the cab driver and Karnataka Police, arrested the woman in Chitradurga. During investigation, the child’s body was found in his bag.
