Prapti Shukla left the show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Generation, Naye Kisse’, told this reason
Mumbai (IANS). Actress Prapti Shukla, who is currently seen playing the role of Gungun in the TV sitcom ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Generation Naye Kisse’, has quit the show.
The actress said, “I am happy to play the character of Gungun in the show. I feel amazing working with JD Majethia sir. I have been a big fan of his since childhood. He is a great actor and director, above all A very great person. I hope to reunite with him and play a lead role in his show.”
He said, “I have left the show to look for new opportunities. Despite waiting for a long time, I did not see any hope for my character moving forward in this show. I am also getting offers from others, but this My commitments were stopping me from moving forward, so now that I am not in any commitments, I can choose the role I want to play.
Talking about the work front, Prapti is making her Bollywood debut with John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer upcoming film ‘The Diplomat’.
The actress said that she is looking for a strong lead role.
“As an actor I want to play the lead role. I want to attract attention with my character while entertaining my audience. I don’t want to limit myself to any particular medium as an actor. I want to do TV, film And ready for OTT. Right now my only concern is about the story and my role in it.”
Prapti has previously played mythological characters in TV dramas like ‘Radha Krishna’ and ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’.
