New Delhi: The central government is trying to provide many new facilities at railway stations, among which are some digital services. Now under this new initiative, anyone can get their Aadhar Card and PAN Card made at this any through a kiosk named RailWire Saathi.
Aadhar Card and PAN Card are one of the most important documents. From hotel booking to hospital, Aadhar card is being used in every place. Aadhar is also being used nowadays for vaccination against Covid-19.
Given to the importance of these documents, government has made it more accessible by launching these services at railway stations in association with CSC e-Governance ‘Services India Limited’. At present, this facility has been started in 200 railway stations across the country. In these e-governance centres, you can easily get mobile phone recharge, electricity bill payment etc.
Here, you will also be able to pay your taxes now at such railway stations where this facility has been started, including Prayagraj and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Notably, a large number of railway stations in rural areas have started this facility. At the same time, Wifi facility is also being provided in 6,090 railway stations of the country.
